Keep Google officially launched after a short appearance online just two days ago. Google has posted on a blog post announcing the launch and availability of the app along with demo video on how it works. Keep Google will compete with the popular note-taking app Evernote and similar apps.
Keep Google is available as part of the Google Drive, and it can be accessed from the station. Currently, you can not make notes directly from the station, but this feature comes in the following weeks. As are in the drive, the notes you create are immediately synchronized on all devices, you will be able to access the notes that you create by using desktop, smartphones and tablets.
Using Google keep you can create text notes, add pictures, add voice memos that automatically be transcribed for you. Notes are arranged like a tiled interface or as a list view. You can rearrange the note tiles depending on your priorities. As soon as you are not with the notes you can archive or delete.
Keep Google is currently available for Web and Android, there's no mention of iOS, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone , but we expect that this may change in the coming weeks. At meets at least the iOS version for Keep first.
Keep Google for Android is available for the ICS Android 4.0 and later. There is a widget for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean users that can be added to the lock screen to have easy access to.
There is no shortage of note apps on Google Play shop, but what keep bringing to the table is simplicity and Google service and integration with Google Drive. In the wake of the closing of Google Reader some users skeptical or you are can trust account or not, although at this time we will use it and see how it goes.
